More than 100 houses razed in Ipil fire
More than 100 houses in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay were gutted down by fire during a conflagration last Saturday night.
A report from the Police Regional Office disclosed that the fire started around 9 p.m. and was placed under control at 11:20 p.m.
The report said that the incident took place at Purok Sampaguita, barangay Don Andres, Ipil that razed light material houses.
The incident was responded by firemen of the Ipil, Titay, RT Lim, Tungawan, Naga, Kabasalan, Siay, Imelda and other Non-government Organization (NGO) all in Zamboanga Sibugay.
Fire investigators estimated the damage to P1M with no reportedly casualty.
Police and fire officers said that occupants of the affected were temporarily evacuated to the evacuation center while others stayed with their respective families. – Dan Toribio
