Ini ang pahayag ni Former Senate President Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel Jr angot sa ginaduso nga no election sa 2019.
“‘There should be no election, there should be a 10-year transition.’ Excuse me, but I think that’s a lot of kalokohan . As the saying goes, the end does not justify the means,” ang pahayag ni Pimentel, isa sa mga longtime advocate sang federalismo.
Isa si Pimentel sa mga resource person sa ginhiwat nga senate deliberations sa Charter Change proposal.
“Hindi pupuwede na sabihin mo ‘yan just to achieve a supposedly good purpose. Otherwise, even the good intention will be submerged by a mess of a nonsense.”
