Davao City – Dili pa angayang ablihan ang border sa Region XI inkaso’g i-lift ang Enhanced Community Quarantine sa Luzon.
Segun ni Department of Health Davao Region Asst. Regional Director Dra. Lenny Joy Rivera nga nagpabilin pa gihapong epektibo kutob April 19 ang ECQ sa rehiyon onse.
“Before April 19 ia-asess pa muna namin yung ating mga number of cases, transmissions within the region and before po namin masasabi yung aming advice to prolong our ECQ or not,” segun ni Rivera.
Sumala ni Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) chief of hospital Dr. Leopoldo Vega nga gikinahanglang taas ang panahon sa quarantine aron mabatukan ang kaso sa
coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
“Initial phase pa kasi tayo, and if we drop our guards and say open kaagad tayo… the possibility of a surge might come in. I think we are doing the right thing now just extend it to the point that we have a zero of positive coming from the city,” sumala ni Vega.
Sa datos sa DOH XI as of 8pm April 5, 80 ang nagpositibo sa COVID ug 21 niini naayo ug na-discharge na sa ospital.
Sumala ni Dr. Cleo Fe Tabada sa Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (RESU), tanang 11 ka mga death cases sa Davao Region may kalambigitan sa Araw ng Dabaw six-cock derby sa New Davao Matina Gallera.
