Posibleng gawing ‘community pantry-style’ ang pamamahagi ng enhanced nutribun.
Ayon kay Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) Executive Director Dr. Jaime Montoya, gusto nilang makinabang ang mga tao at mga adopters na nais tumulong sa pamamahagi ng nutribun.
Ipino-promote ng ahensya ang tekonolohiya para sa production ng enhanced nutribun sa mga local government units (LGUs) at mga food manufacturing companies.
Layunin aniya nito na maging available ang food products ng Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) sa lahat ng mga Pilipino.
Una nang inanunsyo ng DOST-FNRI na maaaring mag-avail ang mga entrepreneurs ang teknolohiya ng enhanced nutribun na free-of-charge at may kakayahan sila na i-produce ito.
Ang enhanced nutribun carrot variant ay tinapay na mayroong natural fiber at walang artificial flavor o color.
Nagbibigay ito ng enerhiya, protina, vitamin A, iron, calcium, potassium, at zinc na bahagi ng nutrional requirements ng mga bata.
Wala itong trans-fats at cholesterol.
