Umapela si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) na sundin ang “rule of humanity” at huwag magdulot ng problema sa pagpapatupad ng COVID-19 vaccination program sa mga malalayo at liblib na lugar.
Nabatid na inaasahang darating sa susunod na linggo ang unang batch ng vaccine supply mula sa COVAX facility ng World Health Organization (WHO).
Sa kanyang lingguhang public address, nakiusap si Pangulong Duterte sa CPP na hayaang maibiyahe ng maayos ang mga bakuna.
“We might be able to issue this appeal–not a warning– I am appealing… The Communist Party must guarantee that the vaccines, in the course of their being transported to areas where there are no city health officers or medical persons, ‘wag ninyong galawin ang medisina. Allow the vaccines to be transported freely and safely. I am asking you now to observe that rule because that is for the Filipino people,” pakiusap ng Pangulo.
Dagdag pa ng Pangulo, huwag sana manggulo ang CPP lalo na at agawin ang vaccine delivery dahil pera ng taumbayan ang ginamit dito.
“The money belongs to the Filipino people. The credit goes to no one. Pera ninyo ito. So natural lang na kayong mga members ng Communist Party of the Philippines and the allied– NPA, NDF, or whatever… kindly observe the rules of humanity,” ani Pangulong Duterte.
Pagtitiyak naman ng Pangulo na maging ang mga rebeldeng komunista ay mabibigyan ng bakuna.
