The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) conducted a medical and dental mission in Barangay 26, Zone 3, Caloocan City on January 21, 2026, extending vital healthcare services to residents in need.
Led by Dr. Rouel Aparato and the medical team of the PCSO Medical Services Department, the mission provided free consultations, treatments, and medicines.
A total of 186 individuals benefited from the initiative, including 118 patients who received medical consultations, 22 patients who underwent dental check-ups and tooth extractions, and 46 patients who availed of electrocardiogram (ECG) services.
The activity was carried out with gender and sensitivity awareness, ensuring equal treatment for all participants regardless of age, gender, or physical condition. Every patient was provided respectful and inclusive care, reflecting PCSO’s commitment to accessible healthcare for all sectors of society.
This program forms part of PCSO’s mandate to assist the poor and the sick, in line with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to prioritize the health of every Filipino as a crucial step toward building a Bagong Pilipinas.
The mission stands as a testament to the principle that compassion and healthcare should not be determined by gender, age, or social status, but by the genuine needs of the people.
“PCSO, Hindi Umuurong sa Pagtulong!”
