PCSO provides ambulance unit to World Trade Quarantine Station

Mandaluyong City. As part of the on-going initiatives of the government to fight COVID 19, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) through the Medical Services Department (MSD) provided an ambulance unit to the Quarantine Station at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. The said ambulance will be utilized by the World Trade Center Quarantine Station (WTCQS) for the entire duration of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

The ambulance unit was turned over to Col. Fatima Claire S. Navarro, Commanding Officer of three (3) stations – World Trade Center, Ninoy Aquino Stadium and Rizal Stadium.

In this challenging situation caused by the COVID-19 virus, PCSO supports the health care system in the country and all frontliners in the fight against the pandemic.


“This ambulance will ease the movement of the Task Force to respond to emergencies especially in transporting patients afflicted with COVID-19 disease to the nearest hospital,” expressed by GM Garma.

“The Agency supports the government led-efforts in curbing the spread of the virus pandemic which affects our health system and our economy , please do our part by practicing physical and social distancing to slow the spread of virus,” she added.

It can be recalled that the Agency also provided the total amount of Php1,953,085,000 as support to the government’s fight against COVID-19 virus.
