Davao City – Gipahimangnuan sa Task Force Davao ang mga motorists nga dili i-park ang ilahang mga motorsiklo sa mga crowded areas.
Matud ni Task Force Davao Commander Col. Consolito Yecla nga ang sakyanan ilabina ang motor maoy daling gamiton sa mga terorista sa pagpamomba o IED attacks.
“As a courtesy to others, we advice drivers or motorcycle riders not to park their vehicles or motorcycles in crowded areas. If crowded areas are free from parked vehicles, we can easily detect vehicles, motorcycles intentionally left behind by terrorists,” sumala ni Yecla.
Katimad-an walo ang natalang angol sa pagbusikad sa Improvised Explosive Device (IED) nga gibutang sa nakalinyadang mga motorsiklo duol sa palengke niadtong Sabado sa buntag sa Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
Gilaraw ni Yecla ngadto sa alkalde sa dakbayan sa Davao nga patas-an ang penalty sa mga illegal parking gikan P500.00 ngadto sa P2,000.00.
“This is to make it difficult for terrorist to use vehicle-borne IED in carrying out terrorism. It will also discourage the drivers/riders from indiscriminately parking their vehicles/motorcycles anywhere in crowded areas which make inspection and detection of vehicle-borne IED difficult,” dugang sa labaw sa TFD.
