Inaasahang sa October 8 na ilalabas ng Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) ang ulat kaugnay sa umano’y false positive” results na ginawa ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) sa Subic.
Kasunod ito ng utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Department of Health (DOH) na imbestigahan ang umano’y “false positive” COVID-19 test.
Nabatid na sa ulat, aabot sa 44 sa kabuuang 49 hospital personnel ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ngunit nagnegatibo nang magpasuri sa ibang pasilidad.
Ayon kay Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III, masalimuot ang imbestigasyon sa kaso dahil sa pagiging teknikal ng proseso.
Kabilang dito ang; pagsusuri sa laboratory records ng testing, review ng case investigation report, remote verification ng laboratory measures at troubleshooting testing.
