The Senate race is heating up according to the RMN Senatorial Survey latest results for January 2019.
Still leading the pack is Sen. Grace Poe, followed by Sen. Cynthia Villar. Notable is that a total of 13 candidates are neck and neck in the top 16, given the margin of error at (+) or (-) 2.5%.
Statistically tied are 3 candidates for 3rd to 5th place, namely Pia Cayetano, Lito Lapid and Nancy Binay. While Jinggoy Estrada holds the 6th place, the 6 candidates tied for 7th to 12th place are Bong Revilla Jr., Bato dela Rosa, Mar Roxas, Bam Aquino, Serge Osmeña and Sonny Angara. And the 4 candidates tied for 13th to 16th place are Imee Marcos, Bong Go, Koko Pimentel and JV Ejercito.
Compared to the November results of the survey, Imee Marcos skids from No. 7 to No. 13, and opposition candidate Bam Aquino jumps from No. 14 to No. 10.
