CAMP MARCELO A. ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY –To continuously maintain a good relationship with the members of the media in Cagayan Valley, PRO2 initiated an exciting and enjoyable Christmas party held at the PRO2 Covered Court on December 6, 2018.
PRO2 Regional Director, PCSUPT JOSE MARIO M ESPINO led the Christmas party for the media practitioners and administered the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected PRO2 Press Corps officers.
Mr. Christopher Estolas, Station Manager of Radio Mindanao Network Cauayan City was installed as the new PRO2 Press Corps replacing Ms. Teresa Campos of Radyo Pilipinas who have served more than 3 years as President of the said Media organization.
RD Espino said that the occasion will develop camaraderie and strengthen partnership between the media and the PNP pursuing one common good goal. “Indeed, the importance of media support in effective law enforcement can never be overemphasized, just as the importance of police assistance in media work cannot be ignored. A simple break from our daily routines, tonight embraces another endeavor that will strengthen our partnership in the name of public service as embodied in your theme, “Stronger Band of Brothers Now and Beyond,” He added.
RD ESPINO expressed his gratitude to the members of the media that serves as a bridge in creating more diverse public opinion and viewpoints, and also, heightening the level of community’s participation. He urges everyone to continuously work hand in hand for the betterment of our place.
The occasion was also attended by PCSUPT JOHN CORNELIUS A JAMBORA, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PSSUPT DOMINGO R LUCAS, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PSSUPT ROMALDO G BAYTING, Regional Chief Directorial Staff, Provincial Directors, City Director, Santiago City Police Office and other PNP Officers.
