Manila, Philippines – Kinumpirma ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na nagbitiw na sa pwesto si PCOO Undersecretary for Administration and Finance Noel George Puyat na siyang may hawak sa budget ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), kabilang na ang inilabas na budget ng ASEAN noong 2017, na tinatayang nasa 647 million pesos.
Ayon kay Roque, noong Mayo 1 pa nag sumite ng resignation letter si Puyat ngunit, hindi na nito idinetalye ang dahilan sa likod ng pagre-resign.
Hindi rin effective immediately ang resigation nito.
Ipinaubaya na rin ni Roque kay PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar ang pagbibigay ng pahayag kaugnay dito.
