Police identified the victim as Enrique Faustino y Sanson, married. He sustained multiple stab wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital.
The suspect was Eric Faustino y Manuel, 43, single of the same place.
Police said that the father and son figured in a heated argument due to financial matter around 11:30 a.m. at their residence.
Amid their argument, Eric grabbed a bolo measuring 17-inch long and stabbed his father several times.

A man wanted in this city was arrested in Cotabato City the other day.
Romeo Besiño y Rojas, 41, single a chainsaw operator was arrested by policemen of Sto. Niño Police Station in South Cotabato during a raid last February 8.
Policemen confiscated from his possession explosive with gun and ammunitions.
Besiño was detained at the police station pending the filing of charges in court.
Last Wednesday morning, policemen of Vitali Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Haran Ulah proceeded to Sto. Niño Police Station and served a warrant of arrest for murder to Besiño.
The warrant of arrest was issued by the Regional Trial Court—Zamboanga City with no bail bond recommended.
