Mayor Evelio Leonardia ordered again the suspension of classes in all public and private pre-schools in Bacolod tomorrow [Feb. 14] as Negros Occidental is still under Public Storm Signal No. 1 due to Tropical Storm “Basyang.”
However, classes in all public and private elementary and secondary schools in Bacolod will resume tomorrow, the mayor also ordered.
Leonardia made the order to DepEd-Bacolod schools division superintendent Cynthia Demavivas, upon consultation with her and Executive Assistant Jose Ma. Vargas, head of Cluster on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management.
