Tinawag na “bastos” ni dating senate president Juan Ponce Enrile si Lea Salonga kasunod ng pagmumura ng singer sa social media.
Matatandaang may ilang bumatikos sa Broadway icon matapos siyang maglabas ng hinaing sa mga nangyayari sa bansa sa isang Facebook post.
“Dear Pilipinas, p***** ina, ang hirap mong mahalin,” saad niya sa burado na ngayong post.
Sa panayam sa DZOR Sonshine Radio nitong Sabado, hiningi ng host na sina Admar Vilano at Jess Arranza ang reaksyon ni Enrile sa naturang post.
Unang napakomento rito si Arranza na nagsabing “bastos siya (Salonga)”, na sinang-ayunan naman ng dating politiko.
“Bastos. Anong malay naman niyang Lea Salonga na ‘yan kung hindi ang kumanta lang,” saad naman ni Enrile.
Nilinaw naman ni Salonga sa Twitter na hindi niya direktang minura ang Pilipinas, bagkus ay ekspresyon lamang aniya ng kanyang galit.

So, to further clarify, I didn’t say p- i- mo, or p- i- ka. If that was what I meant, I would’ve been explicit in my expression. My p- i- was aimed at no one in particular, and was used only as an outburst, a cry. My apologies if I hurt your feelings with my choice of words. 4/
