Nagakinahanglan karun snag dugang nga 33,000 ka mga manunudlo ang Department of Education (DepEd) agud pun-an ang bakante kag dugang nga teaching positions sa mga public school sa pungsod.

“Meron kaming existing ngayon na 23,000 positions to be filled up—ito ‘yung dati pa, ibig sabihin ‘yung mga bakante. Tapos may bago kami ngayong 2019 na approved, na 10,000 na kine-create ngayon sa DBM [Department of Budget and Management],” ang pahayag ni DepEd spokesperson Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla.

Ang pagpadugang sang mga manunudlo sa mga pampubliko nga eskwelahan kabahin man sang tikang sang DepEd agud ma-improbar ang teacher-student ratio agud malikawan ang magginutok sa hulot klasehan.

“We encourage newly graduates kasi kailangan natin nung mga bagong dugo din, new blood in the positions.”
