Nasunog ang sikat nga 13th Century Notre Dame Cathedral nga ginakabig Gothic building sa Paris.
Gilayon naman ini nga ginrespondihan sang mga bombero.
“The worst has been avoided, but the battle isn’t fully won yet,” ang pahayag ni French President Emmanuel Macron.
Nagpahayag naman sang simpatiya si Macron sa tanan nga Katoliko sa kalibutan, sa mga pumuluyo sang Paris kag sa France sa pangkabilugan.
Nagluntad ang sunog pila ka adlaw antes ang Easter Sunday.
“We will rebuild the cathedral together,” ang pahayag ni Macron.
Nagpagwa naman sang mensahe ang Vatican matapos ang nagluntad nga sunog.
“The Holy See received the news of the terrible fire … with shock and sadness. We would like to express our closeness to the French and parisian people and guarantee our prayers for the firefighters and all of those facing this dramatic situation.”
