RMN Foundation, in partnership with RMN, announced over its local radio station, RMN DYVR Roxas City, the Medical (Optical) Mission 2 weeks prior to its scheduled implementation on August 28, 2018. Around 350 listeners responded to this call and pre-registered .
All the beneficiaries underwent eye check-up and out of that, 200 received free eyeglasses. The recipients were selected based on the results of the medical exams.
The project responded to the medical needs of the patients which was not readily available to the residents of Roxas City. The Foundation, through its local volunteers shall visit the patients to assess the medical (optical) condition of the recipients.
The mission was made possible in partnership with Universal Eye Check Optical Clinic, ACS Manufacturing Corporation and International Pharmaceutical, Inc.
