Radio Mindanao Network Foundation 10th Anniversary: Isang Dekadang Serbisyong Publiko

On its tenth-year celebration, the Radio Mindanao Networks Foundation (RMNF) organized a nationwide feeding activity entitled “The Ma. Corrina Canoy Feeding Program” for the Foundation’s Radyo SustanSaya Pillar. The activity advocates proper nutrition and healthy living for all, covering parts of Luzon (Manila, Baguio, Cauayan, Dagupan, Laoag, and Naga); Visayas (Bacolod, Boracay/Kalibo, Cebu, Iloilo, Roxas, and Tacloban); and Mindanao (Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, General Santos, Iligan, Koronadal, Malaybalay, Pagadian, Surigao and Zamboanga) from September 5th, 2022, to September 12th, 2022.

Together with the RMN radio broadcasting stations, the activity was able to feed over twelve thousand recipients across all the local areas, surpassing the original ten thousand target goal beneficiaries within the RMN communities. Both the adults and children received pre-cooked meals, bottled water, and hygiene kits. This activity is in honor of the late Ma. Corrina Canoy, wife of the RMN Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Enrico O. Canoy, whose advocacy is to uplift the spirit and well-being of those who are in-need through self-sustaining nutritional feeding activities.

For RMN’s Chairman and CEO, Mr. Eric O. Canoy, as it celebrates its 10th year anniversary, the RMN Foundation is poised to take on much bigger roles in social change for the nation through the Tatak RMN standards of public service for the loyal and nationwide listeners of the RMN Network.

Special thanks to the RMNF partners and long-time sponsors such as the ACS Manufacturing Corporation which provided hygiene kits (Unique toothpaste and Shield bath soap) to the beneficiaries. Some local partner organizations also supported the feeding activity, such as the Maynilad, Del Monte Philippines, Frozen Foodgasm, Kokola Philippines, La Familia Eagle’s Club, Rosco Bulalo Hauz, Coast Guard Auxiliary District-Bicol, Pilmico Foods Corporation, Nature Spring, Barangay Dontogan Green Valley, Philippine National Police Regional Office 1, LTO Dagupan City District Office, Andor Graphic Photography Studio, El Terrible Burger, Philippine Foodbank Foundation, City Government of Tacloban, Baron Bakeshop, Drixnet IT Solutions, First Field Artillery Battalion Philippine Army, First Cavalry Tagapunguna Battalion, Tactical Operations Group 9, Pagadian City Airport Police, DXPR RadyoMan Fans Club.
