Sa atuang i REFLECTIONS karung adlawa, ganahan ko nga atua ning hinuktokan: “Usahay, dili kita sa Ginoo mudangop kung naa tay problema. Adtu hinuon ta mudangop sa laing problema.”
Ang pari nga misaulog sa maong misa mipahinumdom natu nga dili lang ta malimut sa saad sa Ginoo nga dili ta Niya biyaan. Basta atua lang ihatag atuang 100% nga pagsalig ngadtu Kaniya. Muabot Siya tungatunga sa mga dagkung bawd, unos ug linug. Siguradong muabot Siya para salbarun ta.
(Today, I attended the 7:00 pm holy mass at the Basilica Del Sto. Niño and once again saw the beauty of this historical landmark. I was one of those in a hurry catching up for the last scheduled mass in the basilica today after my hosting stint at a big mall located in Cebu City’s downtown. Hundreds of Roman Catholics were there listening to the readings and the holy gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew. As a child of God, we all allow ourselves to be His instrument in spreading the words. In today’s i REFLECTIONS, I would like us to ponder on this: “Sometimes, we do not turn to Him when problems arise. We turn to things/people instead which in the long run our turning to them creates another problem.” The holy mass presider reminded us to never forget God’s promise that He will never leave us. Indeed, we should put our 100% trust on Him. He will come to us amidst huge waves, typhoons and earthquakes. He will surely come to save us.)
