iFM Laoag – A provincial ordinance was created recognizing the Ten (10) Outstanding Police Officers in Ilocos Norte.
The Ilocos Norte Board led by Vice Governor and Presiding Officer Cecilia Araneta Marcos jointly approved the ordinance with the board members present on the said ordinance and show full support of the said legislative measure.
The Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office (INPPO) spearheaded by Police Colonel Julius C. Suriben, recognizes their police officers’ efforts in combating crime and organizing special non-government groups to irradicate the number of illegal drug victims in the local community.
This program is inlined with the five focused agendas of Chief PNP, Police General Benjamin C Acorda Jr for a better and more effective police force: Personnel Morale and Welfare, Community Engagement, Integrity Enhancement, ICT Development, and Honest Law Enforcement Operations.
Meanwhile, a selection board of the INPPO was created for the nominated top-performing officers in the province. ### Bernard Ver, RMN News
