iFM News Laoag – The National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) held a press conference at the Mall of Asia (MOA) with Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc and NBTC President, Coach Eric Altamirano.
The NBTC is bench-marking for the Regional Basketball Competition in the entire Philippines. Ilocos Norte in Northern Luzon will be the pioneer place for the said event.
Governor Manotoc is very grateful and said that ”it will be a good start for young basketball players to develop their talents, improve their potentials and later on be introduced in the National (MOA) Arena.”
According to Altamirano, the game will start on January 18 to 21, 2024 at the Laoag City Centennial Arena in the Province of Ilocos Norte. Championship round will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena after the regional qualifying tournament. ### Bernard Ver, RMN News
