(PAG-ASA keeps on reminding the public to get ready for the rainy season which officially started this month. Since 2-3 typhoons are expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility as per PAG-ASA forecast, the different local Disaster Risk Reduction Councils in Cebu City are also getting ready as chances of possible flood/landslide incidents are higher too this month. Aside that it can lead to floods, prolonged rainfall or brief periods of heavy rain can cause vehicular accidents. The authorities remind the public to stay safe while driving in heavy rain.)
