PHILRACOM, PCSO Successfully Stage 2026 2nd Leg Triple Crown Stakes Race

As part of its continued support for the advancement of the horse racing industry in the country, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Philippine Racing Commission (PHILRACOM) successfully held the 2nd Leg Triple Crown Stakes Race on June 14, 2026, at the Metro Manila Turf Club, Inc. (MMTCI) in Malvar-Tanauan City, Batangas.

The prestigious race, held over 1,800 meters, offered a total guaranteed prize of ₱3.5 million, further energizing the competition among participants in the horse racing industry.

During the awarding ceremony, the outstanding winners of the race were recognized. Gentle Dance was named the winning horse, while Pat Dilemma was recognized as the winning jockey. The owner and breeder of the winning horse, Benhur Abalos, was represented by Christopher Ora, while Claudio Angeles served as the trainer of the champion horse.

The trophies were personally presented to the winners by PCSO officials, led by Assistant General Manager for Gaming, Product Development and Marketing Sector and PCSO Committee on Races Chairperson Atty. Lyssa Grace Pagano. Also joining the awarding ceremony were PHILRACOM, led by Chairman Aurelio De Leon, alongside Metro Manila Turf Club, Inc. Racing Manager Jose Rodolfo Prado.

PCSO continues to collaborate on programs supporting horse racing as part of its commitment to promoting excellence and a stronger industry for its stakeholders.
