Poe Takes The Early Lead Nationwide, New Names Emerge in Upcoming Senate Race

Sen. Grace Poe is No.1 according to the RMN 2019 Election Survey results for November. She commands 72% with Cynthia Villar at No. 2 (56.2%), followed by Lito Lapid (51.7%), Pia Cayetano (50.6%) and Nancy Binay (46.1%).

While Poe leads nationwide it is notable to see that she comes in only at 16.65% in the South Luzon region.

Debutante candidates Imee Marcos and Roland “Bato” Dela Rosa hold key positions in the top ten. Imee is at #7 (35.8%), with Roxas #8 (34%) and Revilla at #9 (33.3%) with Bato close at #10 (31.9%)

Vying for the last 2 slots in the senate race are the familiar names of Koko Pimentel, Serge Osmeña, JV Ejercito and Bam Aquino who are statistically tied from #11-14.

Key players in specific bailiwicks are Marcos moving up to #2 in North Luzon, Roxas at #6 and Bato at #7 in Visayas. Bato again places strong at #5 in Mindanao along with former SAP Bong Go in the #9 slot, amidst his #17 nationwide ranking.

A total of 3382 randomly selected radio listeners and registered voters nationwide were interviewed from Nov 6-17, 2018 for the RMN Networks 2019 Election Survey.

This was conducted by the RMN Research Department (Tel. 815-8304) across the RMN Network of stations to provide results from major areas within the country. Data gathered were checked and verified by independent research consultants. The margin of error is (+) or (-) 2.5%.

This project is part of RMN Networks commitment to raise public awareness and voter participation in the 2019 elections.
