Naghahanda na ang Philippine National Police sa posibleng extension ng Enhanced community Quarantine (ECQ).
Ayon Kay PNP Chief Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa, bumuo sila ng bagong PNP Administrative Support to CoVid-19 Operations Task Force (ASTF) upang masiguro ang “optimum at efficient management, distribution and utilization of resources and supply chain” ng PNP ng pang-matagalan.
Itinalaga ni Gamboa si PNP Deputy Chief for Administration Police Lieutenant General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan bilang Commander ng task force at si Police Major General Cesar Hawthorne R Binag, The Chief of Directorial Staff, bilang Assistant Task Force Commander.
Sinabi ni Gamboa na may 5 Task group ang nasa ilalim ng ASTF, at ito ay ang:
1) Task Group Personnel Support na bahala sa deployment ng tao;
2) Task Group Logistical Support na mangangasiwa sa transportation ng PPE, decontamination facilities, food supply, communication requirements at test kits;
3) Task Group Financial Support na titiyak na may sapat na pondo para sa lahat ng aktibidad ng ASTF na suporta sa JTF CV Shield;
4) Task Group Health Management and Medical Reserve Force para siguruhin ang kalusugan ng mga naka deploy at mag-monitor ng kalagayan ng mga PNP personnel na apektado ng COVID-19; at
5) Task Group Contact Tracing.
