RTA TRAFFIC ADVISORY

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SCHEME DURING THE CONTINUATION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CdeO DRAINAGE SYSTEM ALONG VALENZUELA AVENUE

Section 1. Temporary Traffic Scheme during the Continuation of the Construction of CdeO Drainage System along Valenzuela Avenue. Pursuant to DPWH advised, the drainage system along Valenzuela Avenue will be completed first up to the corner of Recto Avenue, before implementing the excavation along the section of Recto Avenue up to the front side of USTP for Phase 4.

1. Road closure/no entry of vehicles will be implemented at a portion of Sto. Niño Road from Valenzuela Avenue;
2. One-way traffic for all types of vehicles will be implemented along Valenzuela Avenue from Recto Avenue to Gaabucayan St. and one-way traffic along Gaabucayan St. from Valenzuela Avenue to Osmeña St.;
3. No parking – a) Corrales Extension from Gaabucayan St. to Baculio St., right side, facing South; b) Baculio St. from Corrales Extension to Julio Pacana St., right side, facing West; c) Osmeña St. both sides, bounded by Gaabucayan St. and Recto Avenue;
4. No left turn for all types of vehicle from Gaabucayan St. to Julio Pacana St., from 6:00AM to 8:00PM, Monday thru Saturday;

6. Pier-Macabalan RBC PUJ – going to Agora Market City

Inflow – from Macabalan passing Corrales Extension, turn left Gaabucayan St., turn right Osmeña St., turn left Recto Avenue, turn left Valenzuela Avenue.

Outflow – Turn left Gaabucayan St., turn left Osmeña St., turn left Recto Avenue, turn right Limketkai Drive towards Cogon Market area.

2. Route 1 (R1) PUJ – going to Agora Market City

Inflow – from Recto Avenue, turn left Valenzuela Avenue.

Outflow – Turn left Gaabucayan St., turn left Osmeña St., turn left Recto Avenue, turn right Limketkai Drive towards Cogon Market area.

3. Westbound Multicab Route – going to Agora Market City

Inflow – from Julio Pacana St., turn left Gaabucayan St., turn right Osmeña St., turn left Recto Avenue, turn left Valenzuela Avenue and proceed to designated terminal.

Outflow – from Agora terminal turn left Gaabucayan St., turn right Julio Pacana St., turn left Puntod-Kauswagan Bridge and proceed to Westbound Terminal.

4. Motorela – Color: Blue – going to Cogon Market area (This Motorela Color-Blue temporarily cannot enter the Agora Market City premises, due to the temporary one-way traffic scheme)

Inflow – from Puntod via Corrales Extension, turn left Gaabucayan St., turn right Osmeña St., and proceed to designated loading and unloading zone at Yacapin St.

Outflow – from loading and unloading zone, turn right Osmeña St., turn left Gaabucayan St., turn right Corrales Extension and proceed to Puntod.

5. 6-Wheeler Trucks (4,500kg) and Above

From East to West of the city – from Bugo/Puerto passing the national highway, then turn right Coastal Road at Brgy. Gusa,v
turn left Valenzuela Avenue, turn right Gaabucayan St., turn right Julio Pacana St. and proceed to destination.

From West to East of the city – from Westbound Coastal Road towards Puntod-Kauswagan Bridge, turn right Julio Pacana St., turn left Gaabucayan St., turn right Osmeña St., turn left Recto Avenue and proceed to destination.v
