This coming August 28, 2012, RMN will be achieving yet another milestone as it reaches its 60th year of nationwide radio broadcasting and public service in the country.
In line with this, RMN will be conducting activities to highlight its diamond year.
The anniversary celebrations will kick off with a 60-day countdown in all its AM and FM stations nationwide. There will also be radio programs and promos dedicated to RMN’s diamond year celebration such as Top 60 public service stories and the top hits of the past 60 years.
On August 28, all RMN stations will conduct a simultaneous Medical Mission activity nationwide. There will also be a simple ceremony to honor RMN’s founder Mr. Henry Canoy to be held in Cagayan De Oro, where RMN’s first radio station was founded way back in 1952. A variety show in the city will cap the whole day of activities.
From its humble beginnings, RMN has grown to become the leading radio network in the country.
The 60th anniversary celebrations is meant to thank the listeners for their support and more importantly, a way to highlight the core philosophy of RMN which is public service.
RMN and Amway's Nutrilite Living in Full Color kicks off 2012 Events!
RMN in partnership with Amway kicks off 2012 with a successful event last January 7, 2012 at Market Market's activity center entitled Nutrilite's Living in Full Color! Independent Business Owners (IBOs) from Amway, guests and media people gathered during the event to enjoy free activities in store for them. There were arcade and wii games, photobooth, medical check up and variety show featuring Kyla and Nutrilite's newest Brand Ambassador, Enchong Dee!
