MANDALUYONG CITY — Persistence finally paid off for a 50yearold housewife from Cagayan de Oro City after more than 10 years of trying her luck, as she won ₱10,000,000.00 in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Lotto 6/42 draw held on April 7, 2026.
The winner hit the jackpot through a Lucky Pick (LP) entry with a bet of only ₱25.00. The winning combination drawn was 063723023931.
Accompanied by her daughter, the lucky bettor flew to Manila and personally claimed her prize at the PCSO main office along Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, on April 16, 2026.
During the checkturnover ceremony, PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles handed over the winning check and advised the winner to use her winnings wisely, emphasizing the importance of longterm financial planning, “I-invest mo yung napanalunan mo wisely. Pwede kang mag-put up ng business para lumago yung napanalunan mo. Huwag din kakalimutang magpasalamat sa Diyos.”
The winner shared that she intends to invest her winnings prudently. Part of the jackpot will be used to build a modest home for her family in Cagayan de Oro City. “Uunahin ko po na magkaroon po muna kami ng sariling bahay ng pamilya ko at yung matitirang budget ay ilalaan ko sa maliit na negosyo para naman po sa pantustos sa pag-aaral ng aming mga anak.”
PCSO assured all lotto winners that their personal information is kept strictly confidential to safeguard their safety and security.
The public is reminded that Lotto 6/42 draws are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 PM, and are broadcast live on IBC‑13, D8TV Channel, and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
