Pangungunahan ng Department of Education – Cordillera Administrative Region (DepEd – CAR) ang selebrasyon ngayong taon ng National at World Teachers’ Day sa October 5.
Ayon kay DepEd Undersecretary at Chief-of-Staff Epimaco Densing III, ito ay batay inilabas na memorandum nitong September 30.
Ang National at World Teachers’ Day ay may temang “Gurong Pilipino: Dangal ng sambayanang Pilipino (Filipino Teachers: Pride of the Filipino Nation) na nagsimula noong September 5.
Required na lumahok ang lahat ng regional directors, schools’ division superintendents, district supervisors at school heads.
