Radio Mindanao Network Foundation Inc., in coordination with RMN DYRI IloIlo, organized a project called “Smiling On The Inside & Out: Bloodletting Activity” last August 26, 2018. It was a Blood Donation Drive and Feeding Project at Rizal St., Iloilo City and Calumpang Elementary School. There were around 1,000 individuals volunteered for the activity, but only 850 individuals were qualified to be blood donors. To sum it up, 500 blood bags were collected and eventually donated to Red Cross, Iloilo Chapter while 500 elementary pupils of Calumpang Elementary School benefited from Feeding & Gift-Giving activity.
This was made possible with the collaboration of 6 medical doctors, 20 nurses, 28 Barangay Officials of Brgy. Lopez Jaena, Jaro, Iloilo City, 8 RMN DYRI staff and 16 Red Cross personnel.
