Mubalibad sa pagdawat sa National ID isip valid ID multahan og P500, 000

Davao City – Nakadawat og daghang reklamo ang Philippine Statistical Authority (PSA) dinhi sa Davao Region bahin sa mga establishemento ug mga bangko nga dili ginadawat ang Philippine National ID (Identification) card isip valid ID.

Tungod niini, nagpahinumdom si Philippine Statistical Authority (PSA) Davao del Norte Chief Statistician Pepito Amoyen atol sa programa sa Philippine Information Agency (PIA) nga mamahimong mamultahan og P500,000 ang mga mudili sa pagadawat sa maong ID isip valid ID.

‘‘Mao na nga gibutang jud sa balaod ang penalty and for those who want to file their cases, pwede mo moadto sa atoang PAO and PAO will entertain in reference to the violation of Section 19 of the Philsys Act,’’ saysay ni Amoyen atol sa “Sayron Ta, Pakigsayod” program sa PIA.

Ang maong multa subay sa balaod nga Section 19 sa Republic Act 11055 of the PhilSys Act provides that “Any person or entity who, without just and sufficient cause, shall refuse to accept, acknowledge and/or recognize the Phil ID or PSN, subject to authentication, as the only official identification of the holder/possessor thereof shall be fined in the amount of Five hundred thousand pesos (P500,000.00).”
