Nahigitan ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) ang kanilang 2022 collection target ng mahigit PHP 3.92-B o 70.21 percent.
Itinakda ng Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) ang target collection ng NTC noong nakaraang taon sa PHP 5.58-B habang ang aktuwal na koleksyon ng ahensya, as of Dec. 31, 2022 ay naitala sa PHP 9.50-B.
Sinabi ni NTC Officer-in-Charge Commissioner Ella Blanca B. Lopez na, “The NTC’s systematic collection effort is the Agency’s modest way of contributing to the public service programs of our dear President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. – priorities of which are on food security, free and universal primary education, and public health.”
Kasabay nito ay ang pagkilala ni Lopez sa pagsisikap ng mga empleyado ng ahensya na malagpasan ang kanilang target collection.
Ang tagumpay ng NTC ay pinagsama-samang pagsisikap ng kanilang personnel upang mahigpit na maipatupad ang pagtalima ng stakeholders sa pagreremit ng spectrum users’ fees, supervision and regulation fees at penalties.
Ang NTC ay ahensya ng pamahalaan na nagre-regulate sa cable at commercial television operators, broadcast radio stations, telecommunications companies at commercial and portable radio operators.
