PDEA, sinampahan ng kaso si Xu Zhi Jian at labing anim na iba pa kaugnay ng nasabat na kontrobersyal na P1.8 B na smuggled shabu

Pormal nang kinasuhan sa Department of Justice ng Philippine Drug Enforcement si Zhijian Xu alias Jacky Co na sinasabing responsable sa pagpupuslit ng  P1.8 billion  na halaga  ng shabu  sa  Manila International Container Port.

 

Kaugnay ito sa pagkakasabat noong  March 22 ng 276 kilos ng shabu na nakalagay sa 40-foot container at idineklara bilang plastic resin.

 

Ang consignee ng shipment ay nakapangalan ss  Wealth Lotus Empire Corp.


 

Ayon kay PDEA Director General Aaron  Aquino,  Kabilang sa mga kasong isinampa nila sa mga opisyal at directors ng Wealth Lotus Empire Corporation and Fortuneyield Cargo Services ay

violation ng Section 4 (Importation of Dangerous Drugs), in relation to Section 31 (Additional Penalty if Offender is an Alien) of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as amended by R.A. No. 10640.

 

Sinampahan din sila ng paglabag sa  Section 4 in relation to Section 30 (Criminal Liability of Officers of Partnerships, Corporations, Associations or other Juridical Entities) of R.A. No. 9165 as amended by R.A. No. 10640.

 

Maliban kay Co, sinampahan din ng kaso sina Dong An Dong, Julie Hao Gamboa, Fe Tamayosa, Alvin Bautista, Jane Abello Castillo, Carlo Dale Zueta, Abraham Torecampo, Arwin Caparros, Leonardo Sucaldito, Mark Leo Magpayo, Brian Pabilona, Meldy Sayson, Rhea Tolosa, Edgardo Dominado, Jerry Siguenza, Debbie Joy Aceron.
