Lost a job because of COVID, be a PCSO lotto agent

Mandaluyong City. Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Royina M. Garma, announced in a press statement, that PCSO is ready to extend help to the thousands of Filipinos who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic by becoming an authorized lotto or keno agent. PCSO is here, not only to come to the aid of the indigent Filipinos needing medical assistance but also to offer them a means of livelihood.

GM Garma explained that to make sure that PCSO are able to help those who lost their jobs, the Board has lowered the fees for becoming an agent. Before, to become a lotto agent, you will have to pay P2,500 application fee, and if you also want to become a Keno agent, you will have to pay another P2,500 application fee. But with the lowered fees, for only P2,500 you can already be a lotto, keno and sweepstakes agent. This is what we call the 3n1 promo. Pay a one-time application fee of P2,500 and you can be a Lotto, Keno and Sweepstakes agent, subject to compliance with other requirements.

PCSO also decreased the renewal fee, GM Garma continued. We really want to reached out to those who lost their jobs, that’s why we in PCSO did not only lower the application fee but also the renewal fee. From P3,750 renewal fee, now it is only P1,000 for a period of 2 years.

Sales commission awaits our agents. For jackpot bearing games, they will get 7.5% sales commission, while 5.0% for Digit Games and Keno; and 10.0% for Scratch Cards.

Aside from the sales commission, lotto agents also get additional 1% of the jackpot prize or a maximum of 1 Million, as agent’s commission for selling the jackpot winning ticket.
