On May 15, 2026, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over medicines worth ₱60,000.00 to the local government of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
The event, led by Dr. Rouel Aparato, Medical Officer VI of the Medical Services Department (MSD), was held at the PCSO Main Office along Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
Mayor Rafael Ralph L. Benemerito II personally received the donation on behalf of his constituents. He expressed his gratitude to the PCSO, emphasizing that the medicines would be a great help to the residents of Pagudpud, especially those who are ill and the elderly.
This initiative forms part of the PCSO Medicine Donation Program, which aims to strengthen the health and well-being of Filipinos by distributing medicines and vitamins to local government units, organizations, and institutions nationwide.
