PCSO Donates Medicines to Tinambac Residents in Camarines Sur

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has donated boxes of medicines and vitamins to residents of Tinambac, Camarines Sur, as part of its continuing efforts to promote public health and improve the welfare of Filipino communities.

Present during the turnover ceremony was Joanne Alonzo, Nurse II of the PCSO Medical Services Department, who formally handed over the donated medicines at the PCSO Main Office along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City on May 19, 2026.

Municipal Mayor Edward Albert Prades formally received the donated medicines and vitamins on behalf of the municipality, underscoring that the supplies would greatly benefit residents, particularly senior citizens and individuals with medical conditions, by helping safeguard their health and prevent illnesses.

He likewise highlighted the PCSO’s ongoing initiatives to strengthen the capacity of local government units to respond to community needs, particularly in the delivery of healthcare services.

The donation was made under the PCSO’s Medicine Donation Program, which seeks to expand access to essential medicines and support underserved communities by distributing free medical supplies to those in need.

The initiative reflects PCSO’s continuing commitment to strengthening healthcare access and extending assistance to communities across the country.
