PCSO Provides Wheelchairs,Rescue, Medical Devices to Luna, La Union under CSR Program

MANDALUYONG CITY — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over rescue and health-related equipment to the Municipality of Luna, La Union, on May 26, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The donation was formally handed over by Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Contacto-Ventanilla, Executive Assistant VI of the Office of the General Manager, to Janice Espiritu, General Service Officer, who received the items on behalf of Mayor Gary Pinzon.

The assistance included 20 units each of wheelchairs, blood pressure apparatuses, thermal scanners, nebulizers, pulse oximeters, and weighing scales. PCSO also provided 10 units each of stretchers, life jackets, trauma bags, oxygen tanks, handheld radios, searchlights, rescue ropes, and helmets.

Espiritu expressed appreciation to PCSO, noting that the donated items will benefit residents of Luna and support the operations of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Through its Corporate Social Responsibility Program, PCSO continues to provide practical assistance that promotes the health, safety, and welfare of communities across the country.
