The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continued its commitment to providing healthcare assistance to communities through its Medicine Donation Program, with the turnover of medicines to local government units of Batac, Ilocos Norte and Barangay Baritan, Malabon City on July 28, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
The donated medicines were received by Mayor Mark Christian Chua of Batac, Ilocos Norte, and Barangay Chairman Glenn Santiago of Barangay Baritan, Malabon City.
The turnover was led by Dr. Clarizza Ferrer, Department Manager of the PCSO Medical Services Department, and Dr. Rouel Aparato, who emphasized the agency’s continuing mission to extend healthcare support to communities across the country.
Mayor Mark Christian R. Chua expressed his gratitude to the PCSO for its continued support to local government units. “On behalf of the people of Batac, we sincerely thank the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office for this generous donation. These medicines will greatly help our constituents, especially those who cannot afford their medical needs,” Mayor Chua said.
Barangay Chairman Santiago likewise thanked PCSO, saying the donated medicine will help improve the barangay’s healthcare services and provide much needed assistance to indigent residents.
Through the Medicine Donation Program, the PCSO continues to support local government units and communities by providing essential medicines to address the healthcare needs of Filipinos, particularly those who need medical assistance.
The initiative reflects the PCSO’s continuing commitment to making healthcare assistance more accessible to communities and strengthening its efforts to serve the Filipino people.
