
Mandaluyong City — A farmer from Banga, Aklan emerged as the lone winner of the ₱18,861,406.90 jackpot prize in the Lotto 6/42 draw held on March 19, 2026, at the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The bettor, who has been playing the lotto for nearly 30 years, hit the winning combination 25-29-17-41-23-13 with his ticket purchased at a lotto outlet in Banga.
A farmer by profession, he said he plans to use his winnings to acquire additional farmland, secure his children’s education, and invest in a house and lot for his family.
Having to borrow money to cover transportation expenses to the PCSO Main Office, he managed to personally claim his winnings on April 21.
PCSO reminds all lotto winners to sign the back of their winning ticket and present two valid government-issued identification cards when claiming prizes at the PCSO Main Office. Prizes exceeding ₱10,000 are subject to a 20% tax pursuant to the TRAIN Law.
Under Republic Act No. 1169, jackpot prizes must be claimed within one (1) year from the draw date. Otherwise, unclaimed prizes shall be forfeited in favor of the PCSO Charity Fund, which supports various health and welfare programs nationwide.
The Lotto 6/42 draw is conducted every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 PM, and is broadcast live on IBC-13, D8TV, and via the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
