Another Caviteño Added in the Pool of Millionaires for Hitting the Lotto 6/42 Jackpot Prize of P5.9M

The humble winner of Lotto 6/42 drawn last July 9, 2022 with a winning number combination of 27-18-26-13-02-03 and with a total jackpot prize of Php5,940,000.00 claimed his winnings at PCSO Main Office at Shaw Boulevard Mandaluyong City on July 12, 2022.

“Kahit hindi ako ang nanalo ng 400M, napaka-swerte ko pa din po dahil bihira lang po ang mabiyayaan ng ganitong pagkakataon kaya sobra-sobra pa din po akong nagpapasalamat sa Diyos at sa PCSO na ginawang po niyang kasangkapan para mangyari po ito sa akin” said the soft-spoken 51-year-old lucky winner from Naic, Cavite.

After 21 years of trying his luck, the simple electrician from Cavite finally hits the elusive jackpot prize. According to him he will invest his winning prize for the future of his three children, “Matagal ko na pong alaga ang mga numero na tumama. Galing po ito sa birthday ng aking mga anak kaya gusto ko pong gamitin ito sa kanilang pag-aaral para magkaroon po sila ng magandang kinabukasan” he cited.

The new multi-millionaire also advised the public to keep the faith in trying their luck in playing lotto games “Tumaya lang po sila ng tumaya sa lotto para manalo po sila dahil totoo pong may nananalo po sa lotto kaya po ako nandito sa PCSO ngayon.”

Meanwhile, PCSO Chairperson and Ad Interim General Manager said that playing lotto games brings more hope to the Filipinos, “Your Php20.00 bet is not a wager but a contribution for health programs especially for our needy kababayans. That’s why I am encouraging every Filipino with legal age to continue patronizing all our games (Scratch-it tickets, Lotto & STL).”

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 1169 (PCSO Charter), all winning lotto tickets must be claimed within one (1) year from the date of the draw or else it will be forfeited.

In addition, under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, prizes more that Php10,000.00 are subject to 20% tax.

PCSO assures all winners that their personal information will be kept confidential for their safety and security.
