
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) conducted a medical and dental mission on June 2, 2026, in Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur, led by PCSO Medical Services Department Division Chief Dr. Rouel Aparato.
A total of 456 residents received free medical consultation,119 beneficiaries availed of free dental services and 6 residents received electrocardiogram (ECG) examinations.

The activity was carried out in partnership with Mayor Eugene Rapanut and with the support of various government agencies, organizations, and community groups. Among the partners were the Sta. Catalina Parish Pastoral Council, Social Action Ministry, Knights of Columbus, Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur, Department of Health (DOH), Ilocos Sur Medical Society, Metro Vigan Cooperative Hospital, Rotary International Vigan City Chapter, One Ilocos Sur Health Caravan, One Ilocos Sur Mobile Dental, Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Ilocos Sur District Hospital, Deokid Foundation, and the Philippine Army.
Through initiatives such as medical and dental missions, PCSO continues to expand access to healthcare services for communities in need by providing free medicines, medical consultations, and dental care.
The activity reflects PCSO’s commitment to bringing essential health services closer to Filipinos, especially those who have limited access to medical and dental assistance.
