The Philippine Navy Reserve Command conducts ‘Brigada Eskwela’ in Ilocos Norte

LAOAG CITY – The 113th Naval Support Service Squadron Reserve (NSSSR),11th Marine Batallion, and 152nd ROTC – Philippine Navy successfully implemented the ‘Brigada Eskwela’ 2022 in the Municipality of Sarrat, Ilocos Norte.

More than fifty (50) Strong Ready Reserve Sailors and Marine troops were hands-on-the-deck equipped with cleaning paraphernalia while others are painting materials as their basic tools in the said service. They were able to complete the tasks from two (2) school beneficiaries; Sta. Rosa Elementary School and Sarrat North Central School, respectively.

Col. Eloise Sotero C. Fabian Jr. PN (M) (GSC), Commander, Naval Reserve Center-Northern Luzon, LTJG Ferdinand S. Nicolas PN (Res), Commander 113th Naval Support Service Squadron Reserve, and Lt. Dan Michael B. Ruz, PN were recognized by the school administrators; Mrs. Nancy Tamayo Lagutan, Principal of Sta. Rosa Elementary School, and Mrs. Angelita Fiesta Gaoiran, Principal of Sarrat North Central School.

PO1 Reynaldo R. Altis, Jr., Chief Master-At-Arms (CMAA) manned the troops on the activities for two consecutive days, 9 April 2022 and 10 April 2022 in the said town.

Guided by principles, each participant has their own assignment and shared expertise in beautifying the schools ready for the opening of classes for its limited face-to-face classes.
