Sa ginanap na forum na “Stratbase Albert Del Rosario Institute towards Beyond the Crisis – A Strategic Agenda for the Next President,” kinonekta ni Dr. Toby Monsod, propesor sa University of the Philippines School of Economics, ang Tsina sa food supply chain.

“That we need to defend our territorial integrity, our maritime rights, that we have won [in the Hague],” wika niya.

Ayon naman kay Monsod, “I think we can connect, we may be able to connect more clearly now because of the global food issue which is driven by supply chain, destruction of the supply chain and, in fact, the threat in our area. For me the thing that hits you at the household level will destruct supply chain.”

“It’s a good opportunity to connect it to these issues because clearly we need those supply chains open and we cant have any threat there especially in our seas.” ayon sa kanya.
