State pension fund Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) virtually unveiled on Tuesday its new branding campaign dubbed Ginhawa for All.
“The objective of our corporate rebranding program is to make our products and services more accessible and convenient for our stakeholders. Gusto namin sa GSIS na madali ninyong matatandaan at maiintindihan ang loan products at claim benefits para sa inyo. Nais naming i-angat pa ang kalidad ng aming paglilingkod upang patuloy na makapagbigay ng ginhawa for all,” GSIS President and General Manager Rolando Ledesma Macasaet said in his welcome message.
At the core of the rebranding program are the three GFAL bundles namely GFAL Active, GFAL Grand, and GFAL Plus.
GFAL Active covers the wide array of social security benefits, loan privileges, and non-life insurance products being offered to active GSIS members.
GFAL Grand, the second GFAL package, is composed of various benefits and services available to pensioners.
The third bundle, named GFAL Plus, puts together the different products and services for former GSIS members, immediate families of active members, and non-life insurance policyholders.
“Sa GFAL bundles, mas simple, malinaw, at madali ang pagbibigay ng impormasyon at serbisyo sa miyembro, pensiyonado, kanilang pamilya, at sa publiko. I hope that you will soon be familiar with these bundles, so you will be able to fully appreciate your benefits,” Macasaet added.
Ginhawa for All also represents the pension fund’s other service and program innovations during the pandemic.
GSIS has adopted the contactless filing of claims and benefits. Government employees, retirees or other claimants may submit their application forms and other documents to GSIS through email; postal mail or delivery courier; or drop boxes located in the lobbies of GSIS offices.
Three new Ginhawa Loan Programs have been launched, namely: Multipurpose Loan (MPL), a program that waives charges on all in-default loans; Computer Loan that offers Php30,000 assistance to purchase a computer; and GSIS Financial Assistance Loan (GFAL)-Educational Loan, a study-now-pay-later program for kin of members.
Also part of the rebrand is a revitalized website (www.gsis.gov.ph) which was made simpler and easier to navigate.
“Now the benefits and services for members, pensioners and other stakeholders are grouped according to bundle. All the information they need are already found in each bundle including the application forms,” the pension fund chief explained.
One of the digital innovations under the Ginhawa rebrand is the “GSIS Touch” (or G-Touch) mobile app that was developed by the GSIS IT team. The app allows active members to generate tentative computations of their loans, apply for loans and claims and get regular notifications on their GSIS transactions. Pensioners may conveniently request their APIR interview schedule through the app. The enhanced GSIS Touch will be widely available to members and pensioners in early next year.
