PAL Inaugurates Cebu – Laoag Flight

iFM News Laoag – The Philippine Airlines (PAL) launched the Cebu City and Laoag City flights led by Captain Stanley Ng – President and Chief Operating Officer of PAL together with Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc on December 15, 2023, Friday.

Governor Manotoc on his speech said that “this Inaugural flight of PAL will boast the province’s tourism industry and adds more jobs to the Ilocandia.”

A total of 56 passengers arrived at the Laoag International Airport from Cebu International Airport. The duration of flight is more than three (3) hours departed from 7:05am and landed 10:45am — Captain Robert Byron Santiago and First Officer Alyssa Joy Sison.


The event were attended by provincial Vice Governor Cecilia Araneta Marcos, Board Member Medeldorf Gaoat, Board Member Jonathan Torralba, Ms. Jamie Herrell of CNN, Laoag City Mayor Michael Marcos Keon, Laoag City Tourism Officer Angel Lao, Ilocos Norte Tourism OIC Xavier Ruiz, Laoag International Airport Manager Ronald Estabillo, PAL visitors:

  • Mr. Salvador Britanico PAL Vice President for Sales,
  • Mr. Josen Perez de Tagle, PAL Vice President for Corporate Affairs,
  • Mr. Christoph Gaertner PAL’s Vice President for Planning and Commercial Group,
  • Mr. Bryan Sansolis, Regional Head Philippine Sales,
  • Mr. Höwie Uyking, Assistant Vice President- Branch Management
  • Ms. Mary Jane Go, Assistant Vice President- Ground Services Department, and
  • Mrs. Jasmin Viloria, Laoag City PAL Manager

PAL’s flights are scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:25am from Laoag airport and 7:35am from Cebu airport. ### Bernard Ver, RMN News
