Natapos na ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang imbestigasyon kina Colonel Raymund Dante Lachica at Colonel Dennis Nolasco na parehong nasasangkot sa umano’y maling paggamit ni Vice President Sara Duterte ng kabuuang ₱612.5 million na confidential funds.
Inihayag ito ni Defense Secretary Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro sa budget hearing ng House Committee on Appropriations para sa panukalang 2027 budget ng Department on National Defense.
Sabi ni Teodoro naisumite na ng AFP Fact-Finding Committee sa Office of the Ombudsman ang resolusyon hinggil sa imbestigasyon nito kina Lachina at Nolasco.
Sina Lachica at Nolasco ay parehong tinukoy sa impeachment trial na namahala sa confidential funds ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education (DepEd).
Kinumpirma naman ni Teodoro na nananatili pa rin sa serbisyo sina Lachica at Nolasco.
