PCSO Turns Over Medical, Rescue Equipment to Tabaco, Albay

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reinforced its commitment to public service and community welfare by formally turning over mobility aids, rescue equipment, and medical devices to the local government of Tabaco City on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Representing PCSO was Assistant General Manager for the Gaming Sector, Atty.Lyssa Grace Pagano, who led the turnover ceremony held at the Office of the General Manager. The initiative was carried out in accordance with the agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which aims to extend vital assistance to underserved communities across the country.

Reynaldo Bragais personally received the donated items on behalf of the city government. In his message of gratitude, Mayor Bragais expressed appreciation to the PCSO Board for approving their request, emphasizing that the equipment will significantly bolster the city’s local health programs.

“These resources will greatly benefit our priority sectors, our senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and indigent constituents, who rely heavily on accessible healthcare services,” Bragais said.

The turnover underscored PCSO’s continued efforts to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery, particularly in far-flung and vulnerable communities. By providing essential medical and mobility support, the agency not only enhances emergency response capabilities but also improves the quality of life for marginalized sectors.

Through initiatives like this, PCSO remains steadfast in its mandate to deliver meaningful assistance, ensuring that no Filipino, especially the most vulnerable, will have difficulty accessing basic health services.
