Gipaniguro ni Task Force Davao Commander Col. Consolito Yecla nga magpabiling taas ang alerto sa syudad ug kusog ang ilahang intelligence gathering.
“We should be steps ahead pag-terrorists na ang ating hinaharap. I-enhance pa natin iyong security. We should never rest our guards and we should double our efforts,” matud ni Yecla.
Gilaraw ni Yecla nga palapdan pa ang koneksyon sa mga stakeholders bisan sa gawas sa Davao City.
Samtang, gipili ni Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio si Yecla tungod kay sa Mindanao kini naggikan.
“Iyong nakita ko na you where from Cotabato there was no contest already that you were the choice for the next Task Force Davao Commander because you would understand how it is na hindi makatulog dahil mayroong mangyayari at paggising mo isisipin mo na ito na ba ang araw na may mangyayari. But you’ve probably lived in Mindanao and that is how we lived here in Mindanao,” segun sa mayor.
Si Yecla natawo sa Banga, South Cotabato ug sakop kini sa PMA Class of 1992.
Kanhi Secretary of the Joint Staff si Yecla sa AFP una kini nahimong ika-14 nga commander sa Task Force Davao.
