Sa panayam kay Senate Impeachment Court-Clerk of Court Atty. Renato Bantug Jr., inaasahang matatapos ngayong Lunes ang pre-trial conference ng defense team ni VP Sara at ng house prosecution panel.
Kasalukuyan ang markings of evidence sa article 1 o ang misuse of confidential funds at article 2 o ang unexplained wealth ni VP Duterte.
Ayon kay Bantug, umaasa siyang matatapos ngayong araw ang pre-trial conference upang masimulan na nila ang pagbalangkas ng pre-trial order sa impeachment trial.
Sakaling hindi matapos ngayong araw ang pre-trial conference, sinabi ni Bantug na ipagpapatuloy ito bukas.
Target na isumite ang pre-trial order sa presiding officer sa June 25.
Sa pre-trial order, maglalaman ito ng stipulation of facts, mga testigo, namarkahang mga exhibits, trial dates, at manifestation order ng presentasyon ng mga articles of impeachment.
